Gleeson Land is currently developing proposals to deliver up to 48 new homes with public open space on land at Scant Road West, Hambrook, with a view to submitting an outline planning application for the principle of the development at the end of 2025. The proposal can help address the current housing need in the Chichester District and to deliver a range of high-quality new homes for a range of people.

High Quality Homes
Our analysis and masterplan show how the site could deliver up to 48 new homes including homes to suit people at all stages of life, from first time buyers to families and those looking to downsize
30%
Will be Affordable New Homes
It is expected that at least 30% of the new homes will be affordable in line with the policy requirement in the Local Plan including shared ownerhsip and socially rented.
Greenspace
Of public open space and landscape planting
Approximately 50% will be areas of informal amenity space, new planting, ecology corridors and natural green spaces
incorporating Sustainable Urban Drainage features.
Access
A new vehicular access
The primary access to the site will be from Scant Road West with improvements to the local highway network to improve public safety.​

A new children's play area
A new equipped children's play area will be provided for use by existing and future residents.
Community
Financial contributions
Contributions through Section 106 agreements towards local facilities including schools, healthcare, and community infrastructure subject to identified needs.
